Quarter Entries & Pool6
We think there must be a way to keep the backgammon world alive and kicking. We envy the Danish Backgammon Federation with its league plays and championship flights. And we humbly admit there is not yet room for such things in the 'Low Lands' - de Lage Landen.
But when there is a momentum of quarter entrees at several places, there would be more backgammon play around the country, there would be more interest in the game that passionates us all, there would be more entrees in the quality tournaments we already see in the Benelux.
Thus we give it a shot: during our tournament we will open quarter entries for the next Rotterdam “Last SundayTournament”, the winner earning a free seat for Mr. Ed Baars' tournament!
Pool6 events are Roun-Robin tournaments with 6 players. Top-2 earn a ticket for AG or SZ.
You can enter a Quarter Entry anytime, there are no restrictions but one: the Tournament Directors keep the pace of both the amstergammon tournament en the Quarter Entries. Sign up for 30 euro and get yourself a free ticket!
Remark: Mr. Ed Baars will organize Quarter Entries for the amstergammon tournaments. Other tournaments to come!
